Liberty Soul FM

I tried to create the ultimate version of Liberty Soul FM radio from GTAIII with lore-friendly DJ, commercials, phone calls, public service announcements and a lot of Easter Eggs and references.

Our host tonight is DJ Tina Jane aka Mama Tina. You might know her from "GTA: Vice City Stories", where she was a DJ on "Vice City For Lovers" radio.

Unlike similar radio stations from other GTA installments, such as VCFL or The Vibe, my version of Liberty Soul FM features primarily neo soul songs. Old school vocals and futuristic sound compliment the atmosphere of 3D-era Liberty City, mixing contemporary dynamic with timeless sadness.

The main goal of the radio was to bring out woman's perspective on the story of GTAIII. After all, it is not only a story about revenge, but also about a person you loved the most betraying you and breaking your heart. And when a broken-hearted man wipes out Liberty City's criminal underworld, a broken-hearted woman sings a beautiful song.

I hope you will enjoy listening to Liberty Soul FM as much as I enjoyed making it, find all the references and Easter Eggs, and look at the familiar story from a new angle.
